Users want an option so that events like radon drop-off and pickup (and similar service events) can appear on the inspector’s calendar as reminders without blocking that time slot. Right now, those events block the slot as if they were an inspection, so schedulers or the system treat that time as unavailable even though the inspector could often take another job. They are asking for a setting such as “blocks time slot” vs “does not block time slot” so they can choose per event type.
Why it matters: Inspectors need to see when to drop off or pick up equipment, but the calendar should not treat those as hard blocks so that availability stays accurate and double-booking is avoided only for real inspections.
